Customer Service Representative

Summary
SoundTraxx is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Support Representative to join our best-in-the-business team. In this role, you will often be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support to ensure customer satisfaction. You will handle inquiries, resolve issues, and assist with product information while maintaining a positive attitude.

The Customer Support Representative is primarily responsible for after-sale support.

The candidate should possess strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem solving skills in order to identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to draft reports is required.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in and some experience with prototype or model trains.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service or call center environments is preferred

Core Responsibilities

  • Managing incoming calls and customer service inquiries
  • Responds to all support email
  • Guides the customer in proper product usage
  • Provides appropriate documentation as needed to customers
  • Troubleshoots and resolves technical problems
  • Assists customers in product selection, operation and applications.
  • Builds sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication, handles inquiries efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Provides accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods and tools and follows established communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Handles customer complaints, provides appropriate solutions and alternatives; follows up to ensure resolution has been sufficient
  • Collaborates with team members to resolve customer issues promptly
  • Maintains knowledge of company products and services to enhance customer experience

Job Type: Full-time at our facility in Durango, Colorado (not a remote position)

Compensation
$45,760.00 - $56,160.00 per year (negotiable depending on experience)

Production Assembler - SoundTraxx

Summary
We have an immediate opening for an Assembler in our production department at our manufacturing facility in Durango, Colorado. This position requires excellent manual dexterity, and good or correctable eyesight. This position offers an opportunity for entry into a new career. Applicant must be local.

Assembly positions receive daily instruction from the Production Team Leader with goal of assembling and testing SoundTraxx products, ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering world-class products.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate must be a hands-on individual who possesses a high level of drive, energy and integrity. Assembly experience and/or soldering is a plus, but we will train the right candidate. Experience handling small objects in a similar environment or with a detail-oriented hobby is desirable. Any electronics, machine operation, or technical troubleshooting experience is a plus.

Core Responsibilities
The primary goal of this position is to assemble and test SoundTraxx products for sales to both aftermarket and OEM customers, ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering world-class products.

Duties of this position will include:

    • Follow verbal and written instruction and procedures to assemble SoundTraxx products to established standards
    • Follow verbal and written instruction and procedures to test SoundTraxx products to established standards

Required Skills (all levels)

Accountant

Summary
SoundTraxx has a full-time opening available for a bookkeeper/accountant with AP, AR, and GL experience. Must be comfortable with Windows-based software and possess the ability to remain focused in a busy environment. Must be organized, detail-oriented and be able to interact pleasantly with coworkers and customers. The ideal candidate has experience with Sage50 software or QuickBooks.

Qualifications
The ideal should have a degree in accounting (Associate Degree or higher), a minimum of 2-3 years of experience and possess a high level of drive, energy and integrity.

Core Responsibilities
The primary goal of this position is to perform and manage the day-to-day accounting tasks of the company. The Accounting Role performs most daily, weekly and quarterly financial and recordkeeping functions. This includes recording financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank statements and posting transactions.

Duties of this position will include:

    • Receive checks

    • Process Credit Card receipts

    • Enter new payables into the accounting system

    • Run Income Statement and Balance Sheet for the weekly accounting meeting

    • Bring any unexpected payables to the attention of management

    • Record credit card processing charges

    • Chase late money, send appropriate accounts to collections

    • Run statements on the first of each month.

    • Reconcile Bank and Credit Card accounts

    • General Ledger

    • Make bank deposits

    • Dispense and track petty cash as needed

    • Help sales staff set payment terms with new dealers

Compensation
